Psalm 51:10

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
This passage gets overlooked so often. We have to understand that we need a clean heart and a right spirit, and that in order for us to have that clean heart and right spirit, we have to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, our human efforts to live right will fall short every time (the heart is deceitful above all things) Jeremiah asked ” who can know it” Jeremiah 17:9King James Version (KJV)9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
If the heart is deceitful, wicked, hard to understand and or know, we certainly won’t be able to right what is desperately sick and wrong, we can’t fix what we can’t even understand, only our Lord and Savior can. We need to understand that our hearts are desperately wicked, It’s time we seek after the will of God, not the will of this wicked world, it’s time we live our lives for Christ and stop living as dead men and women walking, it’s time we desire a clean heart and a right spirit, we need to ask the Lord to create a clean heart and to renew a right spirit in us, we must be willing to allow the Lord to complete that work in us, ( He will not force you to do anything) but know that trying to live right simply isn’t enough, it’s a start, but not enough, WE NEED GOD to do what we fail to be able to do on our own. Get right with the Lord, turn from sin, turn to Him, and ask Him to create in you a clean heart and a right spirit. He will give you what you need, all you have to do is ask!!!
