Pre-Tribulation Rapture, fact or fiction

2 Peter 1:20-21

King James Version (KJV)

20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

I want to open with this scripture, because I want you to understand that I will in no way attempt to offer private interpretation of prophecy/scripture, we will simply look at scriptures as it is written, and with God’s grace, mercy, love, knowledge, wisdom and understanding, we will see God’s truth revealed. It is my prayer, that you will take all the information I am writing and research it for yourselves. Is there going to be a pre-tribulation rapture or secret rapture where God will come to remove His saints before the tribulation starts? let’s look at

Hebrews 9:28King James Version (KJV)28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. This scripture plainly states that Christ shall appear “THE SECOND TIME” not 2nd and 3rd time which would have to be the case if we were to beleive that there would be a pre-tribulation rapture. The pre-trib theory goes a little something like this…. God will come right before the tribulation starts and rapture His saints to keep us safe from the horrors that will sweep the world, then after the tribulation He will come yet again, to set up reign etc…Nowhere in scripture does it say Christ will return multiple times, or in two stages, or secretly to secretly rapture His saints, in fact scripture tells us that when Christ returnes every eye will see Him Revelation 1:7King James Version (KJV)7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. we also see the Lord shall descend with a loud shout in  1Thessalonians 4:16 King James Version (KJV)16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: shouts and trumpets doesn’t sound like a secret vanishing to me, in fact this shows that when we are raptured or caught up it will be a very public display. 1 Thessalonians 4:17King James Version (KJV)17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord  1Corinthians 15:51-52King James Version (KJV)51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. If God didn’t leave in secret and His word tell us He will return in like manner as the men of Galilee saw Him leave, then why would He return in secret?Acts 1:9-11King James Version (KJV)9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

There is plenty more scriptures that tell us about Christ second coming and that His second coming will NOT be a secret as some have written, spoken about, or portrayed in the movies, EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM!!!! so we will not be secretly raptured out to be kept safe. God did not have to rapture Noah and his family out of the world to keep them safe from the flood , nor did God have to rapture Lot and his family out to keep them safe from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Just as He kept them safe here on earth, our Lord and Savior is perfectly capable of keeping us through the tribulation here on earth. 1 Thessalonians 5:9King James Version (KJV)9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, as we see God has not appointed us to wrath, but in this world we will face trouble John 16:33King James Version (KJV)33These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. We must pray for the type of peace that can only come from our Lord and Savior, and strength to face and endure the times that are to come, He said it in His word that for our sake the time will be cut short. Keep your hearts, your minds, and your faith in Jesus not in this world, not in your own strength. lets continue to pray without cease for one another, time to come will be severe. Glory be to God!!!!
