Righteous Judgment

1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)

But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

We have to understand that only God knows man’s heart. All we can examine is man’s fruit (works) and man’s words. God does not see as man sees, because He alone sees and knows everything. He alone knows the thoughts and the heart of man. We can’t judge man’s heart because we can’t see man’s heart neither can we know man’s heart.

Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

The answer is… only God can know man’s heart, He is our creator. He alone can judge the contents of man’s heart. Jeremiah 17:10 (KJV)10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Our Lord and Savior have instructed us on how to judge in… John 7:24 (KJV)24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

We can’t see, nor do we know man’s heart, nor are we to judge on appearance so how then are we to judge?

The answer is in God’s word, we are to look at the fruit of the individual according to Mathew 7:16-20 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

There is so much going on in the world that needs to be judged righteously and warned about. There are those that claim to “speak for the Lord or have a word from the Lord” but what they speak doesn’t line up with scripture. There are those trying to discourage and discredit the men and women of God that are living by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God, but instead of using biblical correction, they use their own thoughts, feelings, and beliefs to wear the children of God down and push an unbiblical agenda. There are those that are working to silence the voices of the watchmen who warn the people of coming danger and to look towards the hills from which cometh our help. There are many deceitful workers disguising themselves as apostles of Christ working diligently to achieve their objective by using “judge not”… and “God looks at the heart”… and “God used a donkey”… and so on and so forth. God is not the author of confusion. All of this confusion going on in the body of Christ is an ungodly distraction technique used by the enemy to bait you into an argument and get you off the path the Lord has set you on. We don’t have time, to waste time, playing the games of the enemy. Souls are at stake! Unfortunately there are some that don’t even realize that they are being used by the enemy. They may even believe they are doing the Lord’s work. Pray for them and keep moving forward in Christ Jesus. Don’t get sidetracked. Don’t be discouraged and please don’t stop warning people. Pray and press on, speak the Word of God. Lead as many to the Lord as will come, but lead them to God by using God’s word. Continue to gather with the Lord. There will be many that choose the world and the world’s way over God and His way, when this is the case we must be willing to pray, walk away and let the world love and have its own. We are to be watchmen in this final hour of earth’s history. We are to warn people that judgment is coming! Though many won’t believe it, many don’t want to hear it, and many who will reject it. God has not changed His mind, nor is He allowing anyone to buy us more time. Judgment is coming! Don’t allow the enemy and deceitful workers disguised as apostles of Christ confuse you in this smoky atmosphere. Keep your eyes on God, keep praying, keep pressing forward, keep speaking and proclaiming the Gospel.
