Speaking in tongues

Acts 2:6-8 King James Version (KJV)6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Speaking in tongues is a sudden ability to speak in another language of the earth. It is a gift of suddenly speaking fluently in a different language that people can understand. Acts 2:6 says “every man heard them speak in his own language” the true gift of speaking in tongues will glorify God and will be understood by the hearer.

Ecstatic tongues is babble, it is a counterfeit tongue being passed off as a gift of speaking in tongues. Ecstatic tongues also called glossolalia is not from the Holy Spirit. Ecstatic tongue does not glorify God, it does not further the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it does not bring understanding to the hearer. The devil has dispatched his deceitful workers that are being transformed into apostles of Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15King James Version (KJV)13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Study the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into all understanding. Always take what myself or anyone else says, and see if it lines up with the word of God. There is a battle for your mind and for your faith and the devil is pulling no punches, you must test the spirit to see if what is being presented is from God.
